Mr Warren did a robotic bilateral inguinal hernia repair for me with great care and professionalism. He explained the procedure in detail, including possible complications (there weren't any) and the process of recovery so I could feel confident that the surgery was likely to be successful, as it was. Both Mr. Warren and his personal assistant, Gemma Cooper, were extremely helpful at all stages before, on the day of, and after the surgery. I would also complement the medical team at the Lister Hospital, and particularly the anaesthetist, who put me at ease as he prepared me for the operation. I would not say that surgery and recovery is a pleasant experience, but knowing you are in good hands with an experienced surgeon and supporting team, makes a huge difference to the sense of well-being and belief that everything will be alright.

Mr Warren undertook a very complex and challenging Abdominal wall reconstruction surgery on me, which was more difficult as I had already had 13 previous procedures in that area, he was very honest from the beginning about what could be achieved, but I am very happy with the outcome, and would highly recommend Mr Warren for any complex Abdominal Surgery.

Oliver is a Consultant Colorectal, Intestinal and Hernia Surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, The London Clinic and The Lister Hospital. He has a high-volume practice in coloproctology and is a JAG accredited colonoscopist. He has an interest in hernias, including complex abdominal wall reconstruction. He performs over 50 colorectal resections per year, the vast majority using 'keyhole' surgery.
Prior to becoming a consultant surgeon he undertook colorectal surgery fellowships at St. Mark's Hospital, London and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. He was a visiting fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, USA.
Oliver is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London and has written numerous scientific papers and book chapters on medical leadership, patient safety and surgical education. He is the co-author of the book 'Going into Hospital: A guide for patients, families and carers'.
